How to Make A Header

Hey guys, this page will explain how to make a nifty header like the one that I have. Isn’t it great?

 Step One: Pick your layout! Each layout has a specific size for the banner you can  change. It doesn’t matter which you pick, just pick one you like and are comfortable with

Step Two: After selecting which layout you want click on presentation and then click on custom image header. About 3/4 of the way down on this page there will be two numbers in this format —x—. Write these numbers down.

Step Three: Open up Windows Paint or any paint program. I used Microsoft Image Composer, you can do all kinds of fun things to the header in this program.

Step Four: No matter which paint program you use there should be an Attributes tab. Thus tab will take you to an area where you can choose the size of your “white space” to work with. Insert the two numbers you wrote down earlier.

Step Five: Have a blast.Make the header all you. I designed mine with images I found on the internet for Texas Tech.

Step Six: Save the file to your desktop and return to the ‘custom header’ tab on wordpress.com Choose to upload that file and

Tah Dah, you have made a new fangled header that is all you.
